When this house suffered burst pipes during the winter months, the property received extensive water damage from the third floor down.
The damage was so extensive, it required full demolition of the interior and complete renovation of all 3 floors.
Our team worked extensively with the homeowners and their insurance company to ensure the home would be restored above and beyond pre-loss condition. Our team provided resources to preserve the feeling of the original home while improving energy efficiency, circulation, updating the layout and providing a modern feel.
The home is a seasonal beach house which serves as a family gathering place in the summer months. It was important to create an open-concept living, kitchen and dining space for the family to share special occasions, summer days and great meals together. The second floor provides ample bedroom space for guests and a loft on the third floor provides a sleeping area and a living area with a small kitchen.
In the end, we were able to create an improved vacation home for this family to enjoy for years to come. We still appreciate the wonderful connection we share with these homeowners and continue to assist them with the care and maintenance of this great home.
